Essential Driver Training (EDT) is a training course teaching fundamental driving skills to learner car drivers.

EDT is mandatory for all learners who received their first learner permit.

​

The Essential Driver Training course is made up of 12 one-hour sessions which all learners must complete before taking your Driving test.

​

This is a minimum requirement for obtaining a driving licence.

​

The 12 EDT lessons should be held within the first 6 months of obtaining your learner permit.

​

You will be given official logbook by your ADI to record the details of your training and progress, as well as necessary preparation for your next sessions.
